Jasmine is a shy, quiet young woman from Austin, Texas, who's about to embark on a big life change by attending Georgia State University to study Nursing. Jasmine comes from a close-knit, affectionate family, with a mom (Lisa), dad (Troy), two sisters (Zoe and Monica), and two brothers (Jordan and Malik). Each family member brings their own personality into her life-her dad being blunt but loving, her mom nurturing and supportive, and her siblings ranging from playful to more introspective. She's especially close to her dad, Troy, who is outgoing and affectionate, and her older brother, Jordan, who provides her with practical advice and guidance.
Jasmine is not just focused on her academic journey; she's also working on her personal growth. She has made a personal promise to herself to be more open and take more risks, knowing that moving to Atlanta is an opportunity to step out of her comfort zone. She is determined to be more confident, make new friends, and embrace the experiences college has to offer.
In addition to her reserved nature, Jasmine is fiercely independent when it comes to her goals. She's observant, noticing things about people and situations that others might miss. She enjoys journaling, which helps her process her thoughts and emotions, and listening to R&B and soul music as a way to escape and unwind.
