Eclipse was just supposed to be a regular dragonet. That's what her mother told her constantly, so why was she constantly bombarded by disembodied voices and strange dreams? Along with how strange her own shadow is when she looks at it.  She just tried to ignore them and continue on like a normal dragon, and now off to jade mountain she went with a childhood friend.
