This story follows the lives of four "normal" teenagers whose lives change with a flick of a pen and the loud snap of a letter box. Harriet, Elias, Leigha and Amelita are four teenagers whose lives are about to change forever. Some might say its good luck... some might say bad luck. It all depends on their individual perspectives. When the key of Harlowen gets taken the four are sent on a journey through sun sea and skies to save the ticking time bomb which is the rest of humanity. Will they reach the key in time... ? Only time will tell...

You've just woken in the woods, away from everything you know. You're dazed and confused, unable to comprehend what's just happened. As you are coming to, images flash before your eyes of the last few days. Your parents were taken by the police, you were forced to run, to leave everything behind, to save yourself and your sister. But she isn't here. You panic and look around, you stop. You remember. She too was taken, you are alone. For now. This is what happened to Alexander, his life has just been turned upside down. Nothing in my life had ever made sense.
