Nuala Analia De Finvarra is a fairy. One of the last of her kind. At twelve years old she and her mother, Oongah, attempt to escape their kingdom in Ireland. The High King and her father Finvarra is a cruel and unfaithful man. When he learns of his wife and daughter's escape he declares war against the fairies. For the last eight years, fairies everywhere have been hunted like game and Nuala and her mother have been in the States hiding. They live under false names and act as humans in order to keep hidden.
