Pogo pins insert molding also belongs to metal insert molding. The pogo pins are first put into the mold by hand. Once the mold is closed, plastic particles are melted in the barrel and then injected into the mold, with the plastic flowing around the pogo pins. After the plastic has cooled and solidified, the finished product is removed from the mold, with the pogo pins securely attached to the plastic.
