In the small Bulgarian city, the lively sounds of the kukeri dance fill the air, believed to ward off evil spirits. Amidst this celebration, fifteen-year-old Petkan slips away from his sleeping family, drawn into the dark forest by the enchanting performance. As rain begins to fall and shadows deepen, he finds himself lost and haunted by the townsfolk's warnings of wolves. In a moment of desperation, he pleads with God for a chance to prove himself against his bully, Vlavchev. But his hopes turn to horror when he stumbles upon a terrifying creature confronting a kuker, leaving him to question whether he has already met his end.

!! Kuker is a man wearing a costume with bells on it. The costume is made to be a bit scary, so that it can chase evil spirits away. It is a Bulgarian tradition.
