Hirohito Uzumaki moved in with his cousin, Kushina, when he was five-years-old, narrowly avoiding the destruction of Uzushiogakure. He was seven when the Kyuubi attacked Konoha, leaving him as the head of the Uzumaki Clan with a young Naruto under his care.

At that same time, he unlocked a special bloodline ability, which connected him to the very essence of his new home. Simply put, the more Konoha and the Land of Fire prospered, the more powerful he would become. Strong enough to protect his second-cousin and whoever else he may come to care about.
