Shield

Inspired by Netflix series 'Alexander: The Making of a God', The Battle of Granicus unfolds through the eyes of a shield, who will do anything to protect his wielder, Phillip, a young soldier following Alexander the Great into battle. Themes of wavering trust, courage and loyalty are both questioned and explored while secrets of the past are unveiled. In a world where history and myth collide, will courage, loyalty and faith be enough to survive? I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it and absolute all credit goes to Netflix as everything was done by them (the script and stuff) and I was inspired and made it my own!
