When I was young, I was always told that everyone loved a tragic Greek love story. Orpheus and Eurydice. Apollo and Hyacinth. Hero and Leander. Achilles and Patroclus. I had asked my mother why so many of those stories didn't have happy endings. She just gave me a grim smile and told me how the world of the gods was tricky. There was a lot about it that I didn't understand yet. That was 13 years ago. I think I understand it now.

Aristoi Achaion [A the Song of Achilles fanfiction] 2
When I was born no one thought much of me. A daughter who happened to come along with a son, like a thorn who comes along with a rose, like rotten fruits who happen to come along with the ripe ones every year during the harvest. They at first thought that the fates not mentioning me in the prophecy concerning my brother was simply a sign of my unimportance. They even choose my name so it could fit his, not the other way around. What if the best of the Greeks were two people? What if Achilles had a twin sister just as skilled in warfare as him? Hello everyone! It's me @Erlina_LS, I unfortunately lost access to my original account so I will continue the story here. Some passages in the early chapters are not owned my me, they were written by Madeline Miller so credits to her. #9 on thesongofachilles on 12/6/2024 #4 on tsoa on 5/12/2025 #5 on thesongofachilles on 5/12/2025 #2 on Theiliad on 19/5/2025 #4 on greekmythologyretelling on 6/7/2025 #3 on greekmythologyretelling on 6/26/2025
Between Lions and Men
A modernized retelling of the last few books of the Iliad. History's classic war story, which is actually a love story. How deep does grief run, and what do we leave behind after we're gone? The tragic tale of Achilles' rage and loss, the great warrior and his greater fall, comes together in this nostalgic, bittersweet tale. Content Warning: grotesque violence throughout out, grief discussed at length, extended battle scenes with high levels of carnage, sexual assualt discussed. Brief sexuality, characters are stated to have had sex, nothing shown on page. Characters kiss on page. Some crude dialogue regarding a character's sexuality. A character casually mentions sex or makes sexual implications towards a partner/parnters throughout. R-level violence and language, PG-13 level sex/nudity.Complete

Retelling the story between Hyacinthus (hyacinth in other versions) and Apollo. __________________________________ Phoebus Apollo, son of Zeus and Leto, brother of Artemis, patron deity of Delphi, god of music, light, archery, and various other things. But even he, slayer of Python, loved a boy- the beautiful prince of Sparta, Hyacinthus. Though his aura is of godly power, ichor surging through his veins, in the battle field of love, status doesn't matter when the West Wind vies for his heart too. King of flowers and death
Humans know that they can't stay out in the middle of the night during days like the Summer solstice, creatures and evil gods can take them. That is why the lonely god of the Underworld, Hades, is surprised to see a boy picking flowers in the meadow while the moon is up in the sky. A human that is so beautiful to make the god of death leave his reign to have a closer look at him. A choice that will change everything for both of them. I apologize for my english but it's not my first language. Also, this was an old fanfiction I wrote years ago, I changed the names of the characters because I really like this story and I wanted to share it with you on this website, I hope you will like it!Complete
