Anna Irvine has killed a man, and is awaiting trial for it when an ambitious detective offers her a chance at freedom. In exchange, she must give him her story. But she has conditions. She will only tell him what she did if they return to the place she did it. Stonewill Manor, or as her family called it, A House of Special Purpose, named so after ipatiev house which was homed to a series of bloody executions.
