"Behind every capo stands a woman who never hesitates to get her hands dirty."
Camela:
I always knew my wedding day would come, and I always knew that day would serve the mafia.
That's why I never fell in love. I knew it would be a disappointing kind of love.
As the capo's daughter, I had to do my duty.
But I never imagined the guy I'd have to marry would be so infuriating and egotistical. Sometimes I want to stab him in his sleep.
The capo of the 'Ndrangheta - Mikari Caro.

Mika:
She was only supposed to be a peace token between two mafias.
She was never meant to weigh down my heart like this, let alone take it over completely.
Because of her, I was supposed to secure the alliance.
I kept her safe - especially when a new enemy appeared, one I'd never seen before.
She's the only woman who's ever made me think beyond my past; she forced me to look at my present and my future.
The woman I tried to give a life of gold.
but I never once asked if she even wanted gold.
She opened my eyes and finally made me think about someone else.
Maybe she loves freedom. Maybe she loves matching pajamas.
What a ridiculous thought, the capo of the mafia in matching pajamas...

He was waiting outside the OP, there for his student who had been injured during a fight over a phone. As he sat, casually glancing at his own phone, he suddenly heard the faint sound of a baby crying. Curious, he turned toward the sound-and froze. There, outside the pediatric care unit, sat his wife with their son crying in her arms. His heart ached-it had been months since he last saw his son. His gaze shifted to his wife, gently consoling the child. Her face looked tired, pale, and completely drained. Without a second thought, he stood, tears welling in his eyes. Each step he took felt heavy, his chest tightening with every cry from his son. As he neared, he saw her clothes were faded and worn. Her feet were bare, hardened from walking-clearly straight from the farm. His heart clenched. His eyes moved to his son-he had grown so much. She was so focused on calming the baby that she didn't notice him at first. Tears filled her eyes as she held their feverish child close. He softly called her name. Startled, she looked up-and froze. Then she quickly lowered her gaze and tried to get up. He gently placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. She sat back down, turning her face away, quietly wiping her tears. He reached out to take their son. The moment he held him, he felt the heat-his little body was burning with fever. A chill ran through him. After all these months, seeing his child like this was unbearable. He loved his wife and son deeply, but his loyalty to his mother-and obedience to her word-always came first. Between a mother who owned his soul and a wife who held his heart, he was a man torn in a cruel war of love and loyalty. And she-she had given her all to a promise whispered beneath the sacred fire... never knowing that one day, she'd be holding her child, with nothing but a faded vow.

(After High Series # 1) Saffron Rose Borromeo appears to have it all-top grades, family connections, and a guaranteed future in law. But appearances can be deceiving. Maximiliano Jose Delgado is her academic equal and complete opposite. Brilliant, intense, and fiercely independent, he seems to see right through her polished facade-and he clearly doesn't like what he sees. From their first day at the SCA- College of Law, they're locked in a rivalry that goes beyond textbooks and test scores. It's personal. It's consuming. And neither understands why the other brings out such strong reactions. But when good intentions collide with wounded pride, their carefully constructed worlds begin to crumble. Some secrets destroy trust. Some lies are meant to help. And sometimes, the person you're trying to save is the last person who wants your rescue.
