In the city of Plymouth England, Twenty-five year old Mathew Heath expected to make a life for himself from music, his muse, but things don't exactly go his way when his mother's new boyfriend, Hayden Rief, a wealthy, English businessman, offers to sponsor his college education, the catch is, He'll only do it if Mathew pursued a degree in psychology.

After much persuasion from his mother, and Hayden, he decides to take up the offer, but while attending Springdale college of psychology, matt secretly begins to refine his musical skills, turning, and nicknaming himself into 'the bard'
