'He lies. He's not proud of you. It's all lies.' Her sibilant words cut through my one-liner thought process like a knife to hot butter.
'What is there to be proud of? Have you seen yourself lately? Look in the mirror, you stupid girl! You are not the type of person someone could be proud of. And to think," she crooned, 'you actually believed him when he said, 'I am proud of you.' Ha! Puh-lease, do not make me laugh. They were right about one thing, and you know it, don't you? Don't you?! Admit it, Ana. You're stupid! Just a stupid, insignificant, broken little girl who doesn't know how to do anything right. And one day," she crooned softly, 'you'll see that I have been telling you the truth the entire time. And when you do, I'll be there. To guide you. To comfort you. To avenge you.'
This is my dark, twisted take on the popular Mafia, Older Brother, and Lost/Found Daughter plots.
The family's mother seemingly ran away 8 months before the triplets were born. Though their family missed her after searching for a year they gave up and realized that she did not want to be found never knowing about the triplets. She had the triplets and gave them away to a kind man and his wife at 6 their father died and their adoptive mother started to bring her boyfriends around. These boyfriends helped their mother become a drug addict and they started the abuse to the young kids. Throughout their lives, the three were abused and tortured in every way.
