Calia Fatima, an 18 year old girl, can't stand her life in Yuma, Arizona, so she runs away to Los Angeles California. In LA she is known as Caitlyn Farewell. What she doesn't realize is that life back home was a lot easier than trying to make it on your own. While in Los Angeles, Caitlyn, meets a boy named, Jack Reagan. She starts to take a liking to him, but doesn't realize his father is a detective, the detective assigned to find her.
Detective Danny Reagan, a first grade detective, lives in New York with his family. He is assigned a missing child case in Arizona, considering he hasn't had one of his cases go cold in years. He is assigned to find Calia Fatima. The LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department), Yuma Police, and now NYPD (New York Police Department) are in a conjunction investigation, with Danny as the leader. He thought it would be a good idea to let his family have an extended vacation. So his family is going to stay in Los Angeles until the case is solved.
