Winter awakening

Alice has always loved Christmas - from the lit up streets, to the smell of gingerbread and the sounds of carols. In her world, Christmas was a time of magic and joy. However, everything changes when she meets Olivia, a new friend whose cynical attitude to Christmas is slowly poisoning Alice's enthusiasm. Under Olivia's influence, she begins to see Christmas only as commercial and artificial. Discouraged, she feels her former joy fading until she finally decides to run away from home, seeking a moment of peace away from the Christmas rush.

Unexpectedly, fate puts Alex Brown, a mysterious and charming boy, in her path, who takes her to Christmas Eve dinner, reminding her of what Christmas really is. Amidst the festive decorations, the smell of the Christmas tree and the warmth of the family atmosphere, Alice rediscovers the meaning of Christmas - and something more. She begins to notice that her heart beats faster around Alex, that perhaps the feeling goes beyond the Christmas moment.

However, their freshly born feeling is put to the test. Someone secretly wants to separate them, casting a shadow of suspicion and insinuation. Facing adversity, Alice will have to answer the question of what Christmas is really about and what she really feels for Alex - and whether the feeling that was born in the Christmas magic will survive the hardships to come.
