Alice has always loved Christmas - from the lit up streets, to the smell of gingerbread and the sounds of carols. In her world, Christmas was a time of magic and joy. However, everything changes when she meets Olivia, a new friend whose cynical attitude to Christmas is slowly poisoning Alice's enthusiasm. Under Olivia's influence, she begins to see Christmas only as commercial and artificial.
