14-year-old Melanie Ivory is a student from a humble high school in California. Academically successful, with a few close friends and a comfortable, stable home. Just a normal teenager hoping to make out the best of her youth.
However, during her junior year, all comes crashing down when a long buried secret comes to light. Melanie feels she can't trust anybody, not even the one she grew to love the most.

With self-doubts and a broken heart, will she be able to come to terms with her own self and face the destiny that awaits her?
