Rebecca grew up in the area of Rizal, also known as the poorest province in the Philippines. Because of the unexpected death of her grandmother, she was forced to move out from Binangonan Rizal to Pililla Rizal and transfer to Montal High Academy to continue her study. Suddenly she woke up in sleep, where she heard a loud screech and saw a horrific scenario where students biting each other aggressively, after that, the infected turned into a zombie. She has a word in her mind, which is to escape and go to the capital where the nobles live, the New Clark City, where they see like her as an OUTSIDERS.

The friendships between Denisse, Euanne, Eunice, Eunise, Samantha, Jasemaine, Lei, Lowie, Atasha, Eriel, Roa, Vaneza, Maia, Ryjel, Princess, Rhianna, Power, Kaizer, Stephen, Liam, Mary, and Keziah give a sense of community and normalcy, where everyone is simply focused on their studies, weekend plans, and sharing moments with each other. However, the peace of this day is shattered when a freak accident in the school leads to a rapid outbreak. A student from another grade interacts with a rat infected with dangerous chemicals and rabies, causing a chain reaction. That student becomes the first zombie, and the infection spreads quickly through the school campus and the surrounding barangay. The sounds of chaos and screams echo in the hallways, setting off alarms among the students who, at first, think it's some sort of prank. But as the tension grows, they soon realize that what they're witnessing is no joke.
