I stare at him horrified. it couldn't happen my life was already ruined, and I don't want it to be ruined any further. No! It can't happen! I screamed in my head and clutched my head with both of my hands. "No. I don't want this" I whisper shaking visibly. "Adiba... please calm down... listen I want to tell you something.. just calm down" he tried to calm me down in a very gentle voice but how can I? did he forget what he did to me? if he then I will remind him. I look up at him and wipe my tears furiously and clean my face. sighing I said. "I want to abort" I exclaimed and his gentle face turned into his usually angry face. "What the f*ck did you say?" he yelled and take step toward me. but I didn't flinch this time and matched his angry face with mine. "I said I want to abort this sinful thing!" I screamed at top of my lungs. "Shut the fu*k up, Adiba! this is not a thing and not sinful at all" he screamed back grabbing my both arms. and I gave him hateful glared "It is! did you forget you RAPE me!" I screamed and he suddenly left my arms and hurt made its way to his eyes. "Did you forget you RAPE a married woman" I yelled grabbing his collar. "I didn't! But still, it's not a sinful thing Adiba... it's our... It's our halal child... Your my.. my WIFE Adiba!" He said his voice cracking and a lone tear escaped his eyes and I was staring at him like he lost his mind. How can I be his wife? In one swift movement of my hand I reached behind Sapphire's neck and released her hair from the low ponytail it was in. She gasped at my action and looked at me with feverish eyes. She looked up at me, her warm beige skin looked like it was glowing now and she said with pure sincerity in her eyes "per sempre, in ogni dimensione, per sempre in ogni vita, solo tu fino al mio ultimo respiro amore mio" It meant (Forever, in every dimension, forever in every life, only you until my last breath, my love) I snaked my hands around her waist and pulled her close to me. Before kissing her the way I wanted to all this time, i looked into her eyes and said "Me too my love, me too." My first novel is about soulmates. And reincarnation. About, how many bodies a soul has to live in before they finally become their true selves. And before they finally get to be with their soulmate. It's about how love has so many faces. It's about how we never know what roads life will force us to cross. And what emotions we will be gifted to feel. And the things we're blessed with that sometimes we neglect. I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own. Though he spends each waking hour sending them off to their eternal home in the Underground- ripping apart family's and causing grief for the ages. A job he thought would be easy has become unrelenting and increasingly taxing. Though the two couldn't be more different from one another, one chance encounter will pave the path for their whole lives as they know it to come undone. A story of love, hate, life and death. The intense feeling of knowing someone close is about to die fills her body everyday. His job is to simply guide and comfort them to their final resting place. He walks alongside an elder lady passing the rooms of other patients in the hospital. As he passes her room their eyes meet. "Did she just see me," he wonders as he walks back to her room to see. "Those eyes, why is he here now though," she asks herself as she stands from her bed and walks to the hall. Their eyes lock as they meet at the doorway and they barely stop each other from hitting.

The funny part was, she choose to get married to him and a small part of her was glad that it was him , instead of her harasser.
