𝐍𝐢𝐱𝐢𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝, despite her innocent sounding name, was as ruthless as they came. Nobody dared to get on her bad side, knowing the violent consequences that would follow, given her gang-related history. But that was only on the outside. On the inside, she was still the little girl who had to watch her mother go to prison for trying to protect her. She was still the little girl who moved to a different country to stay with her aunt and cousin. She was still the little girl who was always the second choice and never the first. Now in university, she was barely hanging on to life itself as she entered her second year of college.

She walked into her second year looking for a change-something different-but she wasn't expecting him. 𝐀𝐫𝐳𝐡𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬.

His innocent nature, his naïve eyes, the light pink tint that covered his cheeks when someone made a dirty joke-it was all so alluring and addictive to Nixie. But she knew she couldn't touch him. She couldn't destroy his innocence; she knew firsthand what that was like.

But then again, Nixie was never one for self-control. He was hers... he just didn't know it yet.

The boy's pulsed quicken and his eyes darkened. The innocence that was once held in his light green eyes fizzled out. The feeling of her dark acrylic nails on his neck cause a shiver to run down his spine.

He swallowed thickly, "Yes ma'am."
