Devil in the Church

Down Washington Parish, Louisiana, way back in the dead year of 1945, there exists a church. But this is no house of mercy nor a place for the weary to lay their burdens. It is a place where men gather in communion with ruin and where piety serves only as the mask for damnation. At the head of this congregation stands a man known as Pastor Bailey Wade Sinclair-a man who holds dominion over not only the meek and the desperate but over the very machinery of law and governance.
