Crazy how the person he likes doesn't seem to like him back but rather is afraid of him.. What should he do?

Izuku, a 25 year old Literature teacher, has been severely abused and tormented by his ex. The abuse gets extra concerning because Izuku is so used to pain that he doesn't want to be touched in a comforting manner. Resting a hand on his thigh or shoulder would make him evacuate his seat immediately and a hug would make him freak out.

Everyone is trying to piece together the two opposite things that are happening. One is suffering from a painful one-sided love interest while the other is making others suffer by not opening up his problems to anyone. The guilt is strong but the burden is stronger.

Will everything come together as to why Katsuki suddenly lost his inner confidence, why Izuku smokes, why Katsuki recked his sleep schedule, why Izuku has been mistreating his eating health, why Izuku's eyes rarely dilate, why they don't got along anymore and why this is all happening?!
