"I don't play soccer, so don't ask." (Y/N) (L/N), child of the great (F/N) (L/N), former world champion turned coach, was once known as a prodigy in the leagues of soccer, making a name for themselves as they played alongside one of the best clubs in all of Europe. Yet, the universe always had a way of inflicting equal harm on those it favours. In a freak car accident, (Y/N) lost the two things most dear to their heart: their father and along with him, their reason to play. Now lacking the motivation that once fuelled them, (Y/N) was understandably distraught when their friend dragged them into Japan's U-20 team. However, this might just be the exact switchup they needed to rediscover their love of soccer. --- Desiderium [n] an ardent desire or longing; especially: a feeling of loss or grief for something lost --- [Blue Lock is a manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro] Started July 25 2023 Finished September 30 2023
