Hace mucho tiempo existían los Dioses Olímpicos como: Zeus, Hades, Hera, Afrodita, Poseidón, Ares, entre otros. Tras varios sucesos, los Dioses Olímpicos desaparecieron y los humanos se volvieron poderosos, obtuvieron una especie de superpoderes llamada "quirk", y de ahí nadie más supo sobre la verdadera razón del porqué los Dioses Olímpicos desaparecieron.

Pero, antes de que los dioses desaparecieran, dejaron una profecía que decía que dentro de 100 años sus elegidos caerían en la Tierra como humanos normales, pero, tendrían características físicas parecidas a ellos y también una similitud de sus poderes. Estos se convertirían en los futuros "Dioses Celestiales"
