Most of my life I have been hiding from everyone and everything. Without my best friend, though, I wouldn't have survived. One seemingly normal day, I come across a strange group of dragon riders. One, in particular, draws my attention. That can only mean trouble. This is a "How to train your dragon" fanfic taking place after the second film. Some general remarks: - I do not own the Httyd series and its characters. Some parts of this story are entirely fictional and not found in the series. - TW: cursing, sex, depression and suicide, abuse - English is not my first language so I might make some mistakes. - Constructive criticism is always welcomed, but no hate pls. This is my first attempt at writing fiction, so bear with me here. most httyd runaway alt timeline stories usualy follow a very simmilar style; hiccup runs, everyone thinks he dies, etc cetera. this one is gonna be a bit different from the usual runnaway stories, hopefully for the better. You were best friends. You'd tell each other everything. Throughout your teenage years, you were an inseparable couple. Everything was magical, until one day when you were being forced to marry a selfish man who everyone thought had the power to end a war. You loved only Hiccup, a man who no body on your island knew, or would ever approve of. Your strict parents would never let you marry a Viking. So you disappeared into a new far away place with your dragon, and you were never seen again. Hiccup and (y/n), an unbreakable bond. What happens when you are reunited with Hiccup and he is the only person that you want? Is it possible to make everything go back to normal, after you abandoned everything you knew? Was the new world where you truly belong? Or is it in Hiccups arms?
