In a world ravaged by fires, where all that's left of once sky high cities and lush green gardens is ash and dust, a girl named Mika is trying to find her place. After running away from home, upon discovering that her beloved safe haven was soon to be taken over by Better Living Industries- the company that owns most everything in what used to be America- she falls in with a crowd of crayon-box colorful outsiders who call themselves the Killjoys and chooses to help fight BL/ind and try to restore her fallen world to at least a glimmer of its former glory. In a world where the good guys lose and the bad guys win, can a girl like Mika ever make a difference?

We have a girl named Lucy, 18 years old, whose parents are managers high up in the ranks of BL/Ind. She, however, has differing desires: she wants to run away to the desert and meet the Fabulous Killjoys. One day, she does... and her life is saved by none other than Party Poison, Kobra Kid, Fun Ghoul, and Jet Star when her parents find her running away and they use force as a means of bringing her back home to live under their controlling and toxic environment where she hid so well the fact that she never took any of the pills. She changes her look to express herself as she's always wanted, and gets a new name and starts a new life as: Fireball Frenzy. When Fireball is adjusting to and living this new life, what happens? (Art isn't mine!!) One firefight gone wrong. That's all it takes for someone's life to fall apart, right in front of them. The Unwanted Killjoys were a team neglected by other Killjoys. They run across some trouble and the Fabulous Killjoys come in to the rescue. Dr. Death Defying offers the Unwanted Killjoys protection, but Black Dynamite, the leader of the group, refuses to offer help. Although Fun Ghoul was nice, Jet Star was friendly, and Kobra Kid was helpful, she didn't like Party Poison. He paid a special interest to her, but she ignored him and the feelings she was getting.
