Toutes les générations, les dieux descendent à Eldoria, le royaume des seigneurs dragons.
Leur exigence est toujours la même : quarante familles nobles, quarante héritiers arrachés à leurs foyers, condamnés à s'affronter dans un tournoi sanglant célébrant la gloire divine. Nul n'a jamais échappé à cette tradition cruelle.
Mais cette génération n'est pas comme les autres.
Les dragons, liés à leurs maîtres par le sang et l'âme, refusent de demeurer spectateurs de ce massacre. Dans l'ombre des arènes, un souffle de révolte s'élève. Les héritiers ne seront plus de simples victimes. Les flammes des dragons se dresseront contre la tyrannie céleste.
La guerre entre dieux et dragons est sur le point d'éclater.
