Tears of a Banshee

I used to be normal. I used to be a smiling, cheerful girl. My name is Klaire de Lys. I live in a town where banshees were believed to be real. Some people even reported seeing one on their windowsill, washing the clothes of the dying. I didn't believe them. They say that a banshee can cry tears that can somehow land in your food or drink. If any female consumes the food that has the tears, they'll become a banshee the very next day. How do I know this? Well, let's just call it personal experience.
