Things were good. Things were great, even.

Tecchou and Jouno had settled into a rhythm that felt effortless over the years spent living under the same roof. Initially in college, and then their own apartment once they'd both graduated. At this point, their lives were a blend of their shared routines- breakfast in the morning to sitting on the couch together in the evening.

Jouno may not really believe in fairytales, but they'd reckon this came pretty close to what those stories wished to depict.

They were in love, simply put. And it was... nice.
