Have you ever wished that you could just disappear from reality?

Well when a 17 year old girl named Ari starts getting tired of the life she was given, she starts wishing that she could just disappear of the face of the earth.

But with the wicked reality she was born with. Nothing comes without a twist to it.

This is a story that is kind of like the backrooms/Dreamcore/discomfort core and if you don't know what that is it's basically when you get sucked out of your reality and enter a new one where each place feels nostalgic in some way. It's also referred to as a liminal space. I don't really know how to explain it more then that

this story may have topics that can make one uncomfortable. Be warned that the story will have topics such as: mental health issues, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). Occasional self harm. And insanity. ⚠️
If you are uncomfortable with these topics this story might not be for you.

This story also has occasional Morse code in it. And if you do not understand/know Morse and would like to know what it means don't be afraid to ask me what it means. I will happily answer it for you.

Casually, she participates in the app's trial run but finds herself immersed in the empathic conversations with her customizable virtual boyfriend, Ecto. In a society both connected and alienated by technology, Kate suspects an actual secret admirer is behind Ecto. She decides to get to the bottom of the cutting-edge app. Her search for Ecto's real identity leads Kate to prom, where absolute knowledge comes with a very steep price.
