14 year old Brianna's father killed himself 3 years ago. She finally realized he's gone forever. Her mom has a boyfriend and they had a baby boy together. She likes this new boyfriend and she appreciates both of his kids. Her life was anything but ordinary. She has few friends but they mean the world to her. Her new boyfriend seems to make her happier. Her friends help and guide her through the struggles of life while her father is not there. With quotes from her dad delivered by a medium, a person who communicates with the dead, she realizes her friends keep her alive. She started cutting 2 years ago and every second they get the chance her friends glance at her wrist to make sure she's okay, and in the summer they check her stomach, hips and thighs. If they notice any recent cuts they'll have a deep talk with her about why she cut again. they help her through it. Along the way Brianna finds herself loving her life again. Will her life change forever?
