'did you forget who you were?'
Being born and raised primarily in Paris, Texas, Lilian Forester understands the powers and implications of superstition. Whether it be old, southern women talking about ghosts, or even hoodoo topics arising, she wasn't affected by those matters. After her mother died and her step-father grieved, Lily moved into an apartment in a new city, new area, and had been owned by the previous owners for 30 years. A lovely abode, no dark secrets, learning, it was a nice change. But as the nights grew loud for Lily, insomnia racking her brain, a dark feeling crept into her pure soul. Although unseen by the naked eye, it lurked, followed, watched. And the only time she could feel the cold hands wrapped around her hair or eyes cast upon her very soul, touching her heart, was in her dreams. And they felt oh, so very real.
