If the victims could speak, they would tell a story. I don't know how similar or different their story would be to mine. I have no idea. I don't know what literary style they would use, but I know the pain they would feel, a pain I feel too thanks to this angel called empathy and its friend called emotion. The sad fact, however, is that the victims can no longer tell it. They are dead or don't have a voice strong enough to scream to the world about our GENOCIDE, even before the Jewish one. It is up to me, then, as a Ukrainian, to begin this story. This story is fictional, inspired by the reality of '32-'33 in Ukraine, but it could be as real as all stories...
