Lord Neji's Duty

This an au of the Naruto/Boruto franchise.

Lord Neji, never meant to be the ruler, never meant to be the head of his family is tasked with protecting his cousin's illegitimate son, Boruto.

The little hook-up his cousin had will not bode well with the elders of the Huyga dynasty so he keeps his little sparrow tucked under his wing.

The challenges he faces will incur the wrath of the neighbouring Royalty, The Uzumaki Dynasty.

The Uzumaki's are proud and cheerful people that bring joy to the land...until they snap.

The Huyga Dynasty is the snowy opposite: cold, calculated and distant. The Huyga's bring fear and discipline.

As a noble, (as noble as he'll ever be) he can't pertain to activities that make his 'amazing' family line look weak or sinful.

Yes, this includes loving a maid, pretty little Tenten.

Few changes to characters include:
-Neji being alive (duh)
-Magic not chakra
-No himawari (I'm sorry)
-Hinata will be the leader rather than Hanabi
-Boruto has his mother's hair colour and personality (obviously some of Naruto's too)
-no ninjas
-boruto has buyakugan
