Running. That was what the primal instinct was if you ran out of options, so it seemed logical for Alice Lyon to run as she started to empty her list of options. She guessed that she ran out of options a long time ago.
She had lived with him for most of her childhood and all of her teen years. Her parents died when she was little, and he took her in with seemingly welcome arms, but he was deceiving at first. As years grew on, he got more and more demented. She was his Little Bear, but he treated her like a toy, but a toy that he hated. She had had enough it. All of his abusing and plain old psycho-ness had built to a crescendo, and broken her to the core. She waited until he had fallen asleep one night, packed a bag, left his house, and never looked back once.
So, for three years she had been running from him, but how does he keep finding her? Probably because she sucks at running. She never liked track in high school anyways.
