I was flying.

I was flying. I felt the wind push against my body, pulling me back. I saw the sun, it's fluorescent colors, bright as they shine in my face. I tasted freedom for the very first time. The feeling of joy and eagerness swam inside and out and filled my blood. My wings grew bigger and stronger as night came. It was as it the world was looking at me and smiling again. I was finally alive. Nothing could over power the justice I had that day, that moment. I was brand new, I've always seen things differently, but in that moment it was something anyone could see and feel the same things I did. Life was internal. Love was unimaginable. And laughter caused pain, and pain caused true existence. In that moment I hoped everything would change, although I knew it wouldn't. I will always remember those fragments of freedom. Those small instinct feelings would forever create a scar. The wind finally slowed down, as I drifted off. I knew it soon would be over, but all I could say was, "I was flying."
