Neither happy nor necessarily unhappy, Alice lived her life according to an adage she got from her parents: the main thing is to have a roof over your head. A quiet and monotonous life she thought she would continue for as long as possible. It was in the year she turned thirty that everything changed. Dumped by text message one autumn evening, ordered to leave the shared apartment as quickly as possible, pushed into unpaid leave by her boss and asked to get her life together by her best friend, she felt for the first time the urge to change her path.
