This is the story of a young man forced to grow up and make big boy decisions. (Yuck, right?) But in a dangerous, fantasy setting. The POV changes to 1st person in Ch10 if 3rd person isn't your thing. Don't worry, it's for plot reasons....probably. I dunno. There are witches, monsters, and a ridiculously big guy who swings a giant sword. Read it if you like that stuff. Or don't. I'm not your dad.

As you continue in your studies at the Academy, if you are successful, you will come to understand what all of this means, but for now, you three are our best chance to retrieve it. I plead with you: do not lose your sense of self and try hard to work together to achieve your final goal. I suggest working together no matter how different your personalities may be.
