Gemma Callidus is a young woman in an enchanted forest. Well, not exactly the sort of enchanted you might think of at first, but more of a forest filled with magic both good and evil, with forces battling and chaos always on the verge of spilling into the world. Gemma has been out for vengeance ever since her brother was murdered by an infamous outlaw, and she must do whatever it takes to avenge her brother and still retain her strong moral compass...and stay alive. Her journey leads her to many places she never would have dared to go, and as she conquers her many foes she still must find the bravery and confidence to fulfill her destiny. In a world on the brink of destruction, Gemma’s attempts for vengeance may just be the straw that breaks the unicorn’s back.

As a young child Krevik's mother would tell him stories. Stories of a Crest of Power and two brothers. Now as a young adult, Krevik has no memory of these tales. Secrets surround his past. What happened to his mother? Why does Krevik now live in an old castle at the edge of the great Forest of Ern. His memories remain locked in his dreams. When he wakes only the pain of his memories remain in his head. The memory itself quickly fades. He must remember his past to save his fate. Will his uncle the Magician try to keep him in the dark forever? **Note: This was the first story I've ever written out and completed. So its written a bit naively.
