Gemma Callidus is a young woman in an enchanted forest. Well, not exactly the sort of enchanted you might think of at first, but more of a forest filled with magic both good and evil, with forces battling and chaos always on the verge of spilling into the world. Gemma has been out for vengeance ever since her brother was murdered by an infamous outlaw, and she must do whatever it takes to avenge her brother and still retain her strong moral compass...and stay alive. Her journey leads her to many places she never would have dared to go, and as she conquers her many foes she still must find the bravery and confidence to fulfill her destiny.
