I had nothing to do with these people-those with lifeless eyes, those that held their heads high with a gun strapped to their waists and vials of cocaine deep in dirty pockets, waiting on their next prey. They had no lives and ruined everything, like tearing my sister and me apart, taking my parents' lives and finally stealing the light from my own eyes. Ruined-dead is what I am. I have no purpose; no one can fix that except the devil, who forces me to trust him. He is no different but worse than these men, and I've made a dreadful mistake because I hate them all. I used him, and now he is taking me to the pit of hell with him, and I won't stop him.

Darkness was engraved into my bones when they formed in my mother's womb. There's no such thing as light in my life because I was born a killer. I know nothing out of this world and pay for it when the dead visit. I shouldn't have felt anger so strong when I saw the reflection of a woman I thought of ruining. Then, feeling her skin on mine had burned me hotter than any sin I had committed. I couldn't stay away, and in the end, I helped, held and killed for her.
