Hayden Barnes is a seventeen year-old boy who lives in New Jersey. His mum died when he was twelve years old, so it's just him and his father now. His father was gone most of the time because of business trips, so Hayden was usually left at home alone. He has only one friend and her name is Jessika. Hayden is constantly picked on at school by others, especially by James, the quarterback of the Football team. On the first day back to school, he meets a boy named Garrett, in a strange way.
