Trapped By Obsession

𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐩, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥.

"Aayansh," I say, my voice unsteady. "What are you doing here?" He doesn't answer right away, his dark eyes locking onto mine, sharp and predatory.

"Why didn't you answer my calls?" he asks, his voice dangerously calm.

"I don't owe you an explanation."

His jaw tightens. In two strides, he's in front of me. "Try again, Anika. Who were you with tonight?"

"No one," I snap. "You don't get to interrogate me."

He grabs my wrist, firm but not painful. "You think I don't notice when you lie?"

"I'm not lying!"

"You're wearing his scent," he growls, stepping closer. "Did you think I wouldn't notice?"

I step back, hitting the wall. "You're imagining things."

"Am I?" His hand braces beside my head, trapping me. "You're mine. Or have you forgotten?"

"I don't belong to you!"

His lips curl into a smirk, dark and dangerous. "Say that again. Look me in the eyes and say it."

I try, but the words stick in my throat. His gaze burns through me, leaving me powerless.

"That's what I thought," he murmurs, his fingers brushing my jaw. "Deny it all you want, but your body betrays you every time I'm near."

"Aayansh, stop."

"Stop?" His tone mocks. "You don't want me to stop. You want me to remind you who you belong to."

His lips crush mine, rough and possessive. My resistance melts, even as I hate myself for giving in. "You drive me insane," he mutters, his hands gripping my waist. "You think I'll let anyone else have you? Never."

"You're suffocating me."

"Good," his voice is low, dangerous, his forehead pressing to mine. "Let it suffocate you, cherry. Let it remind you that you're mine, and I'll never let anyone else take what belongs to me." He kisses me again, stealing my breath.

This wasn't love, it was his obsession in which he trapped me.
