Recently divorced and heartbroken, Ivy Winters, thinks this is it for her. At 27, she deems it impossible and quite honestly, impractical, to waste any more of her life looking for love. Especially now that she knows that a five year old marriage can be discarded just as easily as a red bra can be taken off. Her best friend's red bra, by the way.

So what does she do?

She buys a house. And cats. Two of them.

That's where Lucas Sanders comes in. Following the loss of his mother, he tries to remain positive and happy, for the sake of his father and brother. Things seem to be going well and despite the heavy grief, life starts to return back to normal.

That is until Ivy Winters drives by and turns his entire world upside down.

Literally.

Ivy has always lived in color and madness; a cheerful, spontaneous girl full of stories. Kevin, her childhood best friend, has long been the one she confides in, sharing everything, including the ups and downs of her love life. Although Kevin secretly harbors feelings for Ivy since they were kids, she has always seen him as her best friend-someone she knows will always be there without needing to ask. But Ivy's world changes when she meets Sehun, a man unlike any other she's encountered before. Sehun is the calm at the center of Ivy's storm, bringing a balance she hadn't even realized she was seeking. With Sehun, Ivy experiences a love that is not only beautiful but also deep and meaningful, making her respect him in ways she never thought possible. However, their path is not easy. Life's differences and beliefs keep them apart, even though the love still remains. Ivy tries to move on, returning to Kevin's embrace, the one who's always been there for her. But Sehun's image never truly fades. Then, an accident causes Ivy to lose part of her memory-including everything about Sehun. While Kevin hopes this is a new beginning for them, fate has other plans. Ivy meets Sehun again in a completely different situation. With no memories, Ivy still feels an inexplicable pull towards him, as though something is missing from her life. Amidst their professional relationship, old memories start to resurface, and the love that once existed tests everything: Ivy's choices, Kevin's sincerity, and Sehun's willingness to wait. Can a forgotten love find its way back? Or will reality separate them forever?
The Coffee Bean by Stracy2
25 parts Complete
Emmy Lorraine is living her life exactly the way she wants to - owning and running her quaint coffee shop, The Coffee Bean, and enjoying her solitary, peaceful adult life - no strings attached, and certainly no unwanted communication with her pushy, controlling parents. But a recent fling with a man she barely knows has left her in a predicament that she never could have predicted. Pregnant and single, Emmy has to face the biggest hurdle of her life, and when Ben McAllister suddenly comes back into the picture, she really doesn't know how to reconcile her fierce independent nature with her constant, inconvenient attraction to him. Add to the complicated mess the ghost that haunts her coffee shop, and Emmy's life really takes a turn for the confusing. The ghost seems to be trying to communicate with her, but at her failure to grasp its meaning, the haunting becomes more intense, forcing her to reconsider the future of The Coffee Bean - her livelihood. As her relationship with Ben progresses into something she'd never expected, Emmy fights her own natural instincts to back away, to get away from the confusion and chaos inside her heart. But as much as she'd like to think she can handle everything on her own, it's Ben's arms that she really wants to fall into at the end of each day. And as they begin to work together to solve The Coffee Bean's problems, to prepare for a child that neither of them expected to have, they find themselves pushed closer and closer together than either of them had imagined. With the unexpected arrival of Emmy's parents, whom she hasn't spoken to in nearly ten years, comes further complications - questions and anxieties that could break Emmy and Ben apart for good. But the ghost at The Coffee Bean isn't finished with them yet, and as they uncover the meaning of her haunting and communication, they learn more about their own relationship. Emmy might just realize that her heart really can open to Ben more than she'd ever wanted to believe.
