I couldn't hold on much longer I was slipping. I had to let go, I let go of the bar with one hand then the other. I felt the darkness go away and a rush of wind as I kept falling, then it all stopped everything disappeared. I had left, I had died. Chelsea hadn't stopped crying since I let go she was still crying on the way home when her parents found her. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I gave up a long time ago - when my parents died, my hope and purpose went away with them.
