Walter de Ville's Advocate

30 parts Complete Mature

"I'm not the type that [Dickens] writes about; I have zero redeeming qualities." The problematic Walter de Ville is about to eat his words when he meets a Miss Evelyn Jackson Alexander, who has more in common with him than any bride that has come before; but it'll be a wild ride lasting longer than a wedding weekend. This is Walter's perspective with several new scenes, an altered storyline, and thus a different ending (although I love the whole "burn it to the ground" version from the film). I recommend reading my one-shot called "That Thunderous Night" from Emmaline's POV first, but it's not necessary to enjoy this story. Rankings: #1 in Invitation (Sept 2023)
