Callista

"Oh for I am a mere peasant, I beg for your mercy, for you to spare my poor soul, for I have not eaten in days and I fear joining Hades in his realm of lost souls. So please, spare me, for I have nothing to offer but my empty body and my heart's tune."

Those were her words before passing out on the statue's feet. Callista doesn't remember anything but that word "Callista". She wakes up starving in the woods, and after endless wondering she finds a temple.
She hugged her empty stomach, and felt shivers when she felt her ribs under her skin.
And so she begged, begged to not be sent to the world of the dead, because there was a silent voice telling her to not die, that she will be compensated, to just endure a little more. And so she does; she clings to the god's feet and begs, to then wake up to have her request fulfilled, by no other than one of the many gods who live in the Olympus
