Ellie Heart is a 14 year old girl who has lost everything. Her mother died when she was 5 years old and her father is abusive and violent. She ran Away from home one day deciding that she could not take another beating from her drugged, smoke addict father who also had a drinking problem. She has been living on the streets for 3 years now and life is hard. She struggles to find a meal to keep herself alive and often ends up sleeping in a tree or on a park bench. Music is the only thing that keeps her alive. Her favorite band is The Script and she loves all of their music. She learnt how to play the piano and guitar because of them and she loves to sing as well. How will her life change when one night when she is searching for food and gets into a bad situation?

Harper Clark never thought she'd get to live out anything close to a fairytale ending.
