Shape-shifters are a race of folks who can take the shapes of any creature one can imagine. From the docile rabbits, to the sly foxes, to even the mythical dragons; each shifters accounted with their own strengths and weaknesses. They could even make themselves human, with their animal-like features being the one thing that stands out from the humans.

Then, there are the legendary creatures that many knew about from the myths of Chinese and Japanese. The Four Celestial Beasts, whom are regarded as the powerful deities among the shape-shifters.

The Seiryu, the Suzaku, the Genbu, and lastly the Byakko. Each divine beasts reign regions in four winds as they maintain balance and ward away the evil.

The Byakko reigns the western region, making the western skies their home and having total control over the winds. Tiger shifters revere the Byakko as their deity, despite that the Byakko is the deity of all other shifters.
