In Aurhelia, a kingdom where magic is on the brink of extinction, Prince Rovan Varden is a fugitive forced to abandon his home after being betrayed by his father, King Aldric Varden, who despises magic and blames his son for his sister's death. Desperate and in danger, Rovan flees the castle, attempting to keep his magical powers hidden-powers that could alter the fate of the kingdom.

Alongside Elyra, a commoner with the ability to manipulate time, he embarks on a journey into the kingdom's darkest quarters, where the echoes of forgotten magic still linger.
