Alvaro was a poor boy when he was young, he didn't pride himself on being beautiful like the rest of his peers. At school he was the pushover of every richer and prettier boy than him. He didn't have an easy childhood, his father left his mother right after he was born, his mother got into debts that she couldn't pay off. Alvaro had an older brother who was a knight, but his brother Cristian wasn't a saint either. He used his title for various privileges to his advantage.
