Ares dupree had a hard life growing up and her abusive father didn't make it any better. she along with the town found it that he was "the dorm reaper". on his last kill he was killed in a shoot out with the police and her family was condemned to be the murder family. everyone kept their distance even when her older brother had gotten sick and passed from cancer. ares and her mom don't have a lose relationship and it gets even worse when she sends her to go live with her aunt (on her father side) who she hasn't seen since her brothers funeral. Her aunt is this rich business woman who lives alone and is respected in her community.
Ares later finds out that the town her aunt calls home isn't what it seems.
